Noah Webster


Born in West Hartford, Connecticut in 1758.                    
Noah Webster was one of the  pioneers of the American Revolution. Noah Webster was American lexicographer, textbook pioneer, English-language spelling reformer, political writer, editor, and prolific author.   He has been called the "Father of American Scholarship and Education". His blue-backed speller books taught five generations of American children how to spell and read.

Webster's name has become synonymous with "dictionary" in the United States, especially the modern Merriam-Webster dictionary that was first published in 1828 as An American Dictionary of the English Language.       
He is considered one of the Founding Fathers of the nation.

Noah Webster was a revolutionary because  he was  one of the founders of the American English language.

Webster became convinced that the new nation would only survive if everyone had a common language. That was part of his ideology.

He wrote is own versions of grammar reading and spelling text books ,and in many schools his dictionary were used.                                         The name of his dictionary was Blue Backed Speller.                                                        

His book was very popular in the world

He changed and simplified the British way of spelling many words this was revolutionary too.

The world today is different because of Noah Webster. He was one of the founders of the American English that until this day a lot of people use it. 

Today the American English language is considers less quality from the British English language.

Also, To this day the language is the most common among English speakers. Noah Webster actions changed the world because a lot of people that speak English are speaking the American English that Noah Webster created.

Because of him there is a country and a nation  that talks American English.
